Georgian Brighton Pavilion Cribbage Board, circa 1800


A very rare Georgian octagonal wooden cribbage board with a central framed scene of Brighton Pavillion within a floral border with peg holes arranged around the outer edge within simple painted line borders. The cribbage board stands raised on four ball feet and has a sliding cover over a recessed peg well to the base. The cribbage board is not marked. Provenance: From the private collection of a gentleman.
