Early 20th Century English Fairground Carousel Boards A matched pair of early 20th century hand crafted pine English fairground carousel boards, that would have been part of a larger set at one point. Made from sectioned pine boards, hand painted scroll work detail and newly positioned glass mirrors. Size in inches approx..: H 46” x W 29.5” x D 1” Origin: English Date: 1920 Material: Pine and Glass Condition: Aged Both these items are firm in form and solid. The mirrors are new as the old ones to damaged to be used functionally. The board pictured to the left is missing a carved edge detail in the middle of the frame as shown. The chalky finish if firmly in place but worn and faded as you may expect. These items are authentic early to mid-20th century hand made items so please expect aged, related wear and tear as we have tried to show in the photos provided.
