Early 19th Century Store Display American Crca 1800-1810

About the Item

This is an incredibly rare piece. Made from Pine with the original dark green paint. Originally used as a store display in the early 19th century. With swollen baluster turnings, cup and ring decoration. This was an expensive piece to produce when it was made with over 10 turnings in total. Perfect for the display of your collection whether it be modern sculptures, American stoneware, or use in a store for display of contemporary items for, this is about as good as it gets. Completely put together with wooden pegs except for the period screws attaching the top to the base. The top shelf measures 15.5in wide by nine deep. The central Shelf measures 27.5in wide by 14.5in deep. Distance between the shelves is 20.5in from the lowest level to the center and 17.75in from the central shelf to the top, With the height from the floor to the lowest section being 26 inches. Please note photograph with water bottle in order to give you an idea of scale. Found in the Hudson Valley of New York State. This is being sold in as found condition.
