About the Item
A charming mid 19th century French oil on canvas of a Gentleman and his doggy, dated 1847 and signed P.Bisson
A small section of restoration under his left arm, but done some time ago and only noticeable on close inspection. A small hole just left of his head, age related craquelure.
The canvas has been relined and re stretched probably in the last 10/20 years
