This is a beautiful work by Wim Heesakkers, marked with a signature on the back.
Painter/sculptor Wim Heesakkers (1950) is self-taught. Taking on the challenge of experimentation in material, form and color is a duty for Wim Heesakkers as part of his life as a visual artist.
He always uses a surprising and broad palette of lines and colors that strongly respond to your feelings.
This is one of the reasons why the individual character of his objects, photos and paintings is clearly recognisable. This broad palette is clearly evident in his photographs.
Composition, color and lines enhance the essence of the image, making the underlying layers recognizable.
In his polyester sculptures, the harmonious color combinations underline the postures.
