A very nice pair of rising horses, made out of carved wood. The beautiful pair was made circa 1930 in Oberammergau, Bavaria, which is very famous due to the great history of carving in this town. The past of Oberammergau, near the Alps, still attracts tourists from the whole world. The expression of the horses are very beautiful as well as the finely worked heads.
