Naga Shell Bracelet

About the Item

Shell decorated with a frieze of nine characters described in dotted mines. The Naga are a tribe living in Nagaland, a place located at the border between Indian and Burma. They were head Hunter living apart from the rest of India until the 1920’s. Their furniture and jewelry are currently much appreciated by designers and collectors.
