Two Tribal Carved Wooden Carvings from a Naga Structure, Northern India

About

Two large size Indian wooden carvings from the early 20th century. These carved architectural pieces were situated on the facade of important Naga structures, in the Northern part of India. They were carved from a single large tree and depict the horns of a Mithun, a semi-domesticated buffalo. The simplicity yet elegance of these tall pieces would decorate a tall bare wall beautifully. While they are pictured together, we are selling and pricing them individually ($6,200 each). The size mentioned below is for the tallest piece.
