1850s Napoleon III Six-Light Crystal and Brass Chandelier with Pendeloques
About the Item
A French Napoleon III period six-light crystal chandelier from the mid-19th century, with brass armature, pendeloques and rosettes. Born in France at the beginning of Emperor Napoleon III's reign, this six-light chandelier features a central crystal column with foliage accents, connected to a brass scrolling structure. Six arms, accented with large pendeloques and rosettes, each support a bobèche and a candle sleeve. Adorned with a round faceted finial in its lower section, this Napoleon III crystal chandelier circa 1850 will enliven any home beautifully, perhaps hung above a dining table or in a living room.
