1950s brass and Opaline glass pendant lamp attributed to Stilnovo. Executed in geometric opaline glass with brass hardware and canopy. An incomparably clean and refined design characteristic of midcentury Italian lighting at its highest level. Unmarked.
A pair of complementary sconces is also available in a separate listing.
Stilnovo was one of the most innovative Italian lighting design companies during the midcentury era. Their designs have been long sought after by discerning collectors.
Accommodates 1x 60W equivalent LED bulb (lower with incandescent). Professionally rewired for US electrical with custom period style brass canopy added for mounting over a standard American j-box. Drop height adjustable via thick black cord.
Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, marks, patina and age appropriate wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy.
