1950s Mauri Almari 'K2-48' brass chandelier for Idman. A rare example, this cascading chandelier features a trio of perforated brass cones that each measure 33cm H x 11 cm W with the original brass canopy. Highly reminiscent of Paavo Tynell's iconic designs for Taito Oy.
A contemporary of Paavo Tynell, the inspired work of Mauri Almari has made him an increasingly valued midcentury Finnish designer by collectors in the know.
