1960s French Enamelled Ceiling Pendant Lamp, Light Shades with Original Glass

About the Item

1960s vintage French enamelled ceiling pendant lamp/light shades with original glass. We have twelve of these stunning French lamps available. Made from enamelled spun steel with their original glass domes and galvanised steel tops. Twelve lamps are available, they are being sold singularly. These lamps are a great visual statement perfect for a hall, contemporary kitchen or living space. Each lamp has been cleaned and restored and all electrical components have been removed and replaced with modern European CE standard components to BS EN 60598. Each lamp is individually tested and labelled to BS EN 60598. INCLUDED: Each lamp comes completely wired and ready to install including; 2 metres of stainless steel 2mm diameter wire rope for hanging the lamp (with 2 easy to use simplex grips), 2 metres of black fabric covered electrical cable and a ceiling hook as shown. The lamp is fitted with a standard E27 threaded lamp holder for which a wide range of modern and vintage style filament bulbs are widely available. We do not currently sell bulbs and recommend LED bulbs 6W maximum. We select the best colour/style of cable for each lamp but additional colours are available for different projects and we can also supply more than 2 metres of hanging cable/wire/chain etc as required, please contact us separately to discuss. Workshop Report Workshop report lighting: We take electrical safety very seriously, our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that every lamp leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. Each lamp has been cleaned and restored and all original electrical components have been removed and replaced with modern European CE standard components to BS EN 60598. Each lamp is individually tested and labelled to BS EN 60598. Each lamp comes completely wired and ready to install by a qualified electrician. All of our lamps are Class 1 and earthed. In addition where physically possible we go beyond the regulations and double insulate all electrical components and fit additional grommets and protective cable sheathing at any potential points of cable movement. Each lamp is delivered with installation instructions. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use.
