About the Item

A reclaimed vintage industrial flameproof Edison tube light made by Daeyang circa 1978 with iron based rust applied finish. This fixture has been heavily modified for modern day use both electrically and cosmetically, the rusted finished is achieved using a powder coat of iron which is then oxidised to create a real rust finish. All of the nuts and bolts have been replaced with brass equivalents which have been mirror polished to create gold highlights. These fixtures are salvaged from decommissioned supertankers and military vessels then professionally restored in the UK ready for use in modern interiors. The main body is cast aluminium finished with our formulated rust technique, the fittings are steel and brass and the tubes are formed from boroscilicate glass. All lights are professionally re-wired by our in-house team to exceed British Standards using CE approved components or UL listed components for use in the USA. For all orders to USA, UL listed bulb holders and 100v bulbs will be fitted, all lights are sold ready for use in your home or commercial installation.
