1970s Italian Hand Blown Murano Taupe & Brown Glass and Chrome Pendant Light
About the Item
1970s, Italian, Murano, hand blown glass, ceiling pendant light with a chromed-metal frame, feature interlocking chain and ceiling cup. The bell-shaped shade has an undulating wave running around its outer bottom edge. The shade is taupe with a chocolate brown drip effect on the top which when lit the light reflects beautifully through it. As you can see the colour changes quite dramatically when the light is lit. There is some age-related pitting to the chrome and a line in the brown glass which could be a hairline crack but it's difficult to tell and only noticeable (see image) when illuminated. Rewired with a discrete grey silk flex and in full working order.
