About the Item

Antique French Louis XV Style Bronze Chandelier, Cut Crystal Offered for sale is an 19th century ornate and dense cut-crystal chandelier on a Louis XV-style bronze frame. The fixture has been electrified and is French-wired to accept candelabra bulbs. The chandelier has multiple tiers with gracefully up-sweeping arms that alternate lights with curved crystal spears. The center post has decorative cut crystal columns that rise to the top where large thick beveled drops drape from stems above and throughout the fixture. The light hangs from a bronze chain that connects to a retrofitted antique canopy as shown.
