19th Century Murano Glass 'Ciocca' Chandelier


An eight-light Venetian Murano floral bouquet (ciocca) glass chandelier. The palest blue and white handblown fronds, arms, bobeches and stacked urn baluster; mounted with pale green rose blossoms. Exceptionally detailed contrasting leaf tips, dew drops, and basket weave structural elements. State of the art handblown craftsmanship substantiates dating early in the last quarter of the 19th century. Mid to late 20th century electrification.
