20th Century Spanish Gilt Metal Toleware Bulrush Chandelier Hollywood Regency
About the Item
This stylish and elegant mid 20th century Toleware bulrush chandelier has a wonderful patina, and the gilt metal sparkles beautifully when lit. Hanging from its original scalloped ceiling rose, the chain extends to a gilt metal rod, which is attached to the chandelier base, from which stems the reeds and bulrushes and six gilt metal arms. To the underside is a gilt bowl, decorated in leaves and an attractive spray of spikes. The chandelier has been professionally rewired with 3-core antique brown braided cable and is ready to hang.
