About the Item

Amber crystal glass pendant light by unknown Scandinavian producer in the 1960s - vintage crystal glass ceiling light with brass top in very good, near excellent vintage condition. This charming beauty is comprises by a light amber, almost golden, crystal glass outer shade, a clear crystal glass inner shade and a flat brass top to keep it all together. The round outer shade is smooth, where as the cylindrical inner shade features a band of faceted ornamentation surrounded by vertical lines. The faceted band scatters the emitted light completely, while the vertical lines softens the light. The polished brass top completes the light visually - and also acts as housing for the bulb mount, and securing of the two glass parts. The lights journey through the two crystal glass shade makes for a soft diffused ambient light, and leaves a linear pattern of light onto the surrounding space. The open bottom gives way for a direct flow of light downwards. A true vintage piece that oozes midcentury smokey coziness. Condition: Very good vintage condition - only thing keeping it from being a 9/10 is two tiny chips along the bottom rim of the out shade - otherwise minimal signs of usage and age. Please see the photos! All original, but rewired with 2 m (6' 6.7") high end quality, black fabric cord - for safety and beauty. Tested and fully functional. Cleaned, brass top polished, labeled and packed in protective bag. Light source: One bulbs, Edison screw-fitting (E27/E26) Max 60 Watt.
