About the Item
Circa 1900 French Art Nouveau Muller Freres Luneville Art Glass Chandelier. Signed glass shades. The metal frame with three arms suspending a mottled orange and purple bowl fitted with three candelabra sockets on the interior, and three conforming glass shades, each fitted with a candelabra socket. Ceiling canopy to hardwire to ceiling junction box provided. Incandescent or LED light bulbs. Dimmable.
Provenance: Purchased from the Estate of Paul Schrade and Monica Wiel, Los Angeles, California (Paul Schrader was a close friend of Robert F Kennedy and was wounded during the assassination of RFK in the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles on June 6, 1968.
