Antique Gustavian chandelier signed by Carl-Henric Brolin
About the Item
A rare Swedish Gustavian chandelier made around 1810 by Swedens foremost chandelier maker during the Gustavian era, Carl Henric Brolin. He is one of only two chandelier makers that signed their works.
This chandelier is made of gilt brass and bronze with crystals of many different shapes. The large ring has a for Brolin very typical decoration in the middle. Also the top of the chandelier with the small hanging "baskets" is very typical for this chandelier-maker. He was a master of proportions.
The condition is amazing for a 200+ year old chandelier. The gilding is in great condition as well as the crystals.
