Wonderful design and excellent condition alabaster pendant. When you have been selling antique light fixtures for as long as we have then it sometimes happens that you come across one that you already sold before. It must have been two years ago that we sold an Art Deco fixture (also through 1stdibs) that had the exact same alabaster shade as the one we are offering here. The only difference is that this fine fixture comes with an even more beautiful chain and canopy and they are both mat black in color. To us, this good size, natural mineral stone pendant from the earliest years of the 1900s is the perfect lighting solution for a kitchen, a bedroom, an entry hall or a landing. The black and grey veins, but also the more translucent white veins in the alabaster, make this timeless light fixture an absolute joy to look at, both on and off. The blackened brass canopy and the black metal chain really form the perfect finish to this stylish light.
