Art Deco Frosted Rose Stylized Cubist Floral Motif Chandelier Signed Degue
About the Item
This elegant and sophisticated Art Deco Frosted Rose Pendant Chandelier with Stylized Cubist Floral Antiqued Brass Canopy and Chain is Signed Degue and originates from France, Circa 1930. Features a unique geometric form composed of rounded and intersecting linear detailing, informing the outer edge of the piece with the transparent and frosted geometric motifs of the piece. The bottom of the shade features a stunning array of expansive cubist flower elements, with round transparent sections contrasting with the finely frosted surface texture. The piece hangs from an original canopy and chain rendered in antiqued brass, rising to the canopy which expands brilliantly and capped with a round drop in the center. Signed Degué on the outer edge visible when installed, this sophisticated Art Deco pendant will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary Interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards, this piece accommodates four candelabra based bulbs achieving up to 240 watts of light. With height that can be adjusted to suit, this piece is in Excellent Vintage Condition.
