Belle Epoque Louis XV Style Eight Arm Bronze Chandelier
About the Item
This chandelier has eight candle arms and most unusually eight further lights enclosed in faceted shades. This dates it to a time when electric lighting was less intense; we think the Belle Époque. It is boldly hung with large violin pendents, star and flower-head rosettes, spires, and with a crystal-clad central stem. Between the candles, and the crystal shades, there is a great deal of light refraction possible, exuberant or more subtle depending on your mood.
