About the Item
Rare ceiling lamp attributed to Hans Bergström for Ateljé Lyktan. Brass ceiling cup made by Ateljé Lyktan with its unmistakable shape. Brass rod that holds the "spray on plastic" or resin shade that was used by Ateljé Lyktan in the 1940s and 1950s. The material of the shade has a kind of rubber / plastic feel about it. In the middle of the cable there is also a small teak cylinder that makes the lamp height adjustable. The lamp is in a very good untouched original condition with very light ware consistent with age and use.
