During all the antiquity and a major part of the middle Age, the planets, the moon and the sun, where thought to orbit the Earth. The Cosmos collection comes from this old belief of suggesting a new organization of the universe. The Cosmos collection is composed of brass and hand blown glass with LED in each glass sphere. The chandelier comes in different finishes and glass colors that can be customized and with a diameter that can range from 31 x 72 in. The model also offers a wall version that has alternating bulbs on opposite ends of the structure. All our lamps can be wired according to each country. If sold to the USA it will be wired for the USA for instance. Designed as jewellery for the interior, the Lemardeley’s creations reflect French craftsmanship infused with elegance and refinement. Emilie Lemardeley has an atypical path as a designer. She studied literature, and political sciences, then hopped to Sotheby’ s in London and finally graduated in France at Olivier de Serres. Very quickly, she createsher own brand and offer her original universe to an international clientele. The Lemardeley pieces are all narrative and generous. They offer several levels of reading, ranging from primary functionality to symbol. The talent of the designer lays in her ability to awake, with harmonious colors and balanced materials, the reminiscences of our Western cultures.
