About the Item
A beautiful counterweight pendant lamp from circa 1900. Originating in Austria, in the K and K Monarchy, it has a patent dating
from the industrial revolution. The lamp is made up of two pieces of porcelain, the upper piece attaches to the ceiling while the counter weight
hangs below on a new textile covered cable. The mechanical wheels are in very good condition. The upper ceramic piece has been exchanged for a matching piece to the counter weight. If you have a preference for a different colour textile cable just let us know.
