Rare pendant / table lamp by Simon Poul Henningsen for LYFA, Denmark, 1970s. Nippon, rising sun, is the name of this zen-like lamp which be used as a pendant or as a table lamp. Danish architect and lighting designer Simon Poul Henningsen , son of legendary lighting designer Poul Henningsen. Simon Poul Henningsen was in from 1960s together with Bent Karlby head of design at LYFA and made some of the most iconic lamps in Danish Design history.
