Early 20th Century French Louis XV Black & Gilt Iron Eight-Light Chandelier
About the Item
This elegant antique iron chandelier was created in France, circa 1920. Round in shape, the scrolling chandelier is decorated with a central decorative motif with inside finial; it has eight, wired arms embellished with metal acanthus leaves and dressed with candle sleeve covers. The ceiling fixture is beautifully shaped in a classic Louis XV style and is ready to be hung in a breakfast room, study, or dining room. The fixture is in excellent condition with the original black patinated painted finish with gilt accents. Included: a canopy, loop and chain, each color-matched to the fixture.
