About the Item

Super size and great design, hand carved, antique alabaster chandelier. Thanks to its large size and timeless dish design, this remarkable alabaster chandelier is the perfect lighting solution for many types of rooms and interiors and it too will light up both your days and evenings. It is in excellent condition from top to bottom and the multiple thunderstroke-like black veins contrast even more when the light is switched on. Also, because the dark veins then turn pitch black against a white background that creates a contrast that is amazing to look at. Looking at the size and the deeply carved details that together make the unique design of this light fixture makes you realize that a very skilled specialist must have spent a whole lot of time creating this phenomenal work of lighting art. The perfectly handcarved banding just below the upper rim comes with beautifully flowing guirlandes and equally stunning wicker buckets with peaches in them. Even if we shot a hundred more photos, you still would not be able to see the true allure of this piece. In real life (or in person) our antiques always have that little bit more and this extra large and stunning pendant / flush mount is no exception. You can take our word for it. The replacement, matt black chains underneath the stunning antique brass canopy perfectly complement this fit-for-a-king pendant. By shortening the chain, this work of beauty can also turn into the perfect flush mount. The three sockets inside the unique alabaster shade have been rewired to the highest standard (for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well) and they will easily take a 100 watt bulb each (like we did in our photos). If you appreciate the uniqueness, the extra large size, the superb design and this lights amazing condition (the extra large shade even rings like a bell when you strike it) then maybe you could be the next custodian of this one of a kind antique. Thanks to the hook inside the large brass canopy, mounting this supersize and heavy alabaster pendant light should take no more than a few minutes.
