Fantastic Large Maison Arlus Chandelier Gilt Brass Glass Disc Fontana Arte Style
About the Item
Fantastic large and fine Maison Arlus midcentury chandelier, France, circa 1940-1950. Eight-arm chandelier in gilt brass metal with blueish-grey enameled accents, glass discs finals and original nylon shades, center light in boat shape with textured ice glass panel. It takes eight E27 and one E14 French Bajonett bulb to illuminate. Wiring is good, so it is in fine working condition and ready to use. No chips to glass parts, partly the blueish-grey enamel is gone and the patinated brass comes through, some wear consistent with age and use. It presents beautifully and fills a room with classical elegance. Very high quality and best materials.
Dimensions including shades: 100 cm / 39.37 inches wide, 55 cm / 21.65 inches deep and 77 cm / 30.31 inches tall.
