About the Item
The Bertie is a tactile feather chandelier that we hand make to order from for you in our London studio. Soft and textured, smooth and fluffy; super-soft feathers contrast with the brass accents of cool ball chain. The faceted crystal drops transform direct sunlight into tiny rainbows to dance around your interior. All elements are responsive to touch and movement, combining to create a rich and decadent lighting feature, made to bring life to your interior.
Weighing only 1.2kg, the Bertie’s weightlessness creates a soft and airy presence in a room.
Repurposing and sustainability
Our hen and goose feathers are hand dyed in small batches and are all by-products of poultry farming. Our frames are diverted from the manufacture of bicycle wheels, powder coated in gold and elevated in status and function.
