First Edition from Tip Top Pendellampe for Pondul by Jørgen Gammelgård 70ies
About the Item
The story behind the Tip Top wall lamp is that Jørgen Gammelgaard, during his stay at Samoa in the 60s as a consultant to the UN, only had a simple fluorescent light. The task, to get better light quality, was solved by the fluorescent tube being put up for grabs and provided with a series of cut plastic lids. It became the inspiration for this lamp, which immediately after its presentation was purchased by the Danish Arts Foundation.
