Five-light chandelier with ivory/cream colored glass shades and teak tops, very attractive Art Deco piece from the 1950s! A truly elegant chandelier with five ivory, almost yellowish-opal, cone shaped glass shades with Fine clear stripe patterns. Each glass shade features a black metal middle piece, a thin polished brass ring and a beautiful cone shaped teak top. The thin brass rings extends into the five curved polished brass arms and ends in a black metal base pod in the center of the chandelier. The base pod features polished brass pieces on top and bottom, slightly cone shaped. On top of the center pod a small teak cylinder conceals the connection between the pod and the brass stem, which ends in a black canopy towards the ceiling. Stunning piece with its Fine details and Art Deco style - and it provides more than enough illumination for a medium to large size dining table with its soft downward directed light, but it also provides upwards lighting as well. It would also be a wonderful addition to the hallway, where it gracefully would welcome guests and surely attract much positive attention. So here is the chance to obtain a gorgeous vintage chandelier in very good vintage condition with normal signs of age and usage. All glass shades intact - no cracks, all teak parts intact - no scratches or marks, normal signs of age on the black painted metal and the brass stem - which is only to be excepted on a more than 60 years old chandelier, but none of this signs are at all visible when hung! Please see the photos! Condition: Very good vintage condition. All original including 40 cm (15.7") original top wiring, features the original black canopy and is fitted with new safety clamps for easy connection to existing wiring. Tested and fully functional. Cleaned, brass parts polished, labeled and packed in protective bag. Light sources: Five bulbs, Edison screw-fittings (E27/E26) max 60 watt each.
