Flos Wireline Pendant Light in Forest Green by Formafantasma
Designed by Formafantasma, Wireline sits somewhere between artistic expression and industrial design. Designers Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin’s latest creation for Flos represents their design ethos and aesthetic values, where functionality meets the unexpected.
It’s a piece that neatly fits within the studio’s universe, where design, social responsibility, and ecology collide. Designers Formafantasma explores the contrast between the industrial feel of rubber and the lightness of glass with Wireline.
Wireline is a suspension light which gives off a homogeneous, diffused light thanks to an extrusion of a clear borosilicate glass bar, which contains and diffuses the LED light source. Two metal connectors fix the light bar to the belt. The lamp is completed by two ceiling roses, one of which is placed in correspondence with the light point and contains the power supply and the dimmer. The cable, available in pink and forest green, is made of rubber.
