Four Light Silver Art Nouveau Gas and Electric Chandelier
About the Item
Turn of the century silver art nouveau gas and electric chandelier. Conical shaped canopy and body with four arms curving up. The chandelier is silver plate with flowers on the body in a contrasting dark patina. Two of the arms were originally gas, with original gas cocks, and two were electric. American, C. 1900. The glass is satin frosted with an etched pattern, made by Vianne of France. Rewired and ready for installation. The top tube can be shortened to change the overall length of the piece. Please inquire if you would like us to make this alteration.
Condition: in very good condition, silver has been replated and the finish is in very good condition, and protected from tarnishing. Rewired and ready for installation, US 110-120V hardwired. Takes standard Edison base sockets, 60 watt max. Glass in excellent condition.
