French 19th Century Louis XV St. Baccarat Crystal and Ormolu Chandelier

An exceptional French 19th century Louis XV st. Baccarat crystal and ormolu chandelier. The eight arm twelve light chandelier is centered by a beautiful cut crystal ball below the elegantly scrolled cage adorned with a stunning array of clear, smoky, and amethyst colored Baccarat crystal pedants. The cage displays eight arms with fine floral shaped candle cups and centering the central fut encased in exquisite and extremely decorative Baccarat crystal reserves with exceptional mottled and reeded designs with four light bulbs at the base illuminating it with a wonderful warm glow. The cage leading upwards is adorned with additional beautiful cut crystal pendants all below the striking top spray also displaying superb crystal pendants. All original gilt throughout.
