French 19th Century Louis XVI Style Belle Époque Ormolu and Crystal Chandelier
About the Item
An outstanding French 19th century Louis XVI st. Belle Époque period ormolu and crystal chandelier. The chandelier is centered by a magnificent cut crystal bottom dome with lovely and most decorative cut stars. The central rim displays a fine wrap around intertwined laurel band and elegant rosettes from which richly chased swaging floral garlands extend. The three scrolled supports are adorned with fine acanthus leaves and lead up to the charming foliate top canopy.
