Gilt Tole Leaf Chandelier
About the Item
This is an uncommon form of early 20th century gilt tole chandelier that features a hand-carved and gold leafed urn from which emanate three upward scrolling leafy vines and six leafy vine candle holders. It is feminine and light in feel. The chandelier is in very good original condition. It was rewired at some point in the recent past and the wiring has been checked by a professional. The hand-forged hanging ring and carved gilt urn date this chandelier to the 1920s. This would be the perfect fixture for a powder room, small dining room or elegant ladies dressing room.
