About the Item
Gilt brass and fine lead crystal chandelier 1970s / Schröder Leuchten / Germany with 7-light (E27) and 303 grand hexagonal crystal ornaments
This fine chandelier of Schröder & Co. Manufacture is a timeless and elegant masterpiece of German furniture design. The light sculpture impresses as a concept with 1.000 colors and fire, because produced with finest materials and finished in excellent lines. The lighting in nearly perfect vintage condition is carefully cleaned and rewired. The gilt surfaces show some signs of life, which is no way impairing the chandeliers balance. The designer had a fine feeling for reflexions and brilliance of light. The more than 300 lead crystal hexagons are flawless. The diameter is 25 inches, the height of the body 8 inches and the total original height 17 inches.
