Gunnel Nyman 40's frosted glass pendant lamp
About the Item
Pendant lamp by Gunnel Nyman, one of the founders of Finnish glass design. Feminine, simplified forms are a good example of her modernist interpretation. Frosted glass was also synonymous with her and awards were given in honor of her contributions even after her untimely death. The fairly large blown glass model is a masterpiece that combines the technology of the time with the novelty of the design.
