This Handwoven Agave Fiber Sun Light Screen is a unique creation by León León Design from Mexico City.
Henequén is the name for the Agave fibers used to make this special weaving rope. The same Agave that gives us Tequila and Mezcal.
The screen features a solid powder-coated steel structure and a handwoven Henequén fiber weaving.
Handcrafted in small batches, every Lamp comes with a hand-numbered tag.
*This item is not wired but came come with an installation kit if requested.

Leon Leon Design is a handmade studio based in “la Ciudad de México”, each piece we produce is handcrafted in our workshops by experienced artisans. Inspired by the famous Acapulco Chair from the Mexican 50’s and Mid-Century modern, we design colorful handcrafted products for the home and public spaces. Since 2013 we are working to offer a wide varity of materials, including sustainable and innovative alternatives such as vegetal fibers: Henequén (agave fiber), jute and pinapple leather. From carpenters to wealthers we focus on craftsmanship for every single piece. We aim to bring back the old fashioned know-how into modern furniture you will love for years.
