BLUE TINTED HOLOPHANE PRISMATIC FACTORY LIGHTS Rare and stunning blue Holophane prismatic glass shades with industrial cast iron fittings and brass holding screws. Reclaimed from an old industrial mill these shades were made in England circa 1920. Glass is stamped "PATd 1910 No28182" "ENGLAND" and "HOLOPHANE 531" Cast iron fittings also having the "HOLOPHANE" makers marks embossed into their finish. The vintage Holophane shades also have what the company called their "VELVET FINISH" which is a sort of frosted / etched satin finish rather than the glass being completely clear. The blue color of the glass provides a pop of color while still maintaining a classic, vintage aesthetic. The prismatic design of the glass also creates a beautiful, diffused light effect that adds ambiance to any space. These shades would be perfect for an industrial-inspired space or to add a touch of vintage charm to a modern home. As standard our lights come with 1m of our premium fabric three core cable to a colour of your choice unless stated otherwise in the product description. Generally, ES or BS lamp holders are used unless otherwise stated and are fully compatible with main dimmers and modern LED filament bulbs. Our lights can be wired to bespoke specifications, longer lengths, different cable types and compatibility with specialist dimming systems such as DALI can all be accommodated. Lights supplied to U.S.A and Canada are installed using UL Certified cable and lamp holders. As standard we supply round black fabric cable and E26 holders. Please note that although we use UL certified components our original reclaimed lights do not come with UL certification. Due to the antique nature of our original vintage lights, we cannot offer an official IP rating and cannot guarantee our lights for external use.
