Italian 19th Century Patinated Iron and Pressed Metal Ten-Light Chandelier

An extremely decorative and whimsical Italian 19th century patinated iron and pressed metal ten light chandelier. The chandelier with a central electrified weaved basket has ten scrolled foliate arms decorated by wonderfully colored pomegranates. The underside of the chandelier is lit by two light bulbs amidst the leaves. The basket is joined to the central column by the handle with an elongated pomegranate branch leading to the top. Unique design with a total of thirteen lights.
