About the Item
Early 20th century Italian iron two-tier ten-light chandelier, in good condition, restored and rewired. Of Italian origin, handcrafted, this is a unique work of art coming from a Milanese private palazzo.
Unusual structure with ten curved scrolling arms on two tiers, decorated with iron spiral patterns and lapislazzuli and ivory color painted metal sheet balls.
A long shaped iron stem ending in the lower part with a flower bulb containing an ostrich eggshell.
The final blue wooden element has been repainted.
This artwork is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any artwork in Italy created over 70 years ago requires a governative license for export called Belle Arti.
