About the Item
Jules is a graceful handmade 2-tone pendant light with a soft organic shape reminiscent of a translucent jelly fish. It can also be used as a modern take on Chinoiserie or Hollywood Recency depending on the choice of fabrics and metal finishes you select. It can be subtle or bold depending on the level of contrast of the two fabric colours used, linen as shown or customized using silk or custom fabrics to your specification. The colour of stitches flanking each brass rib can also be specified as contrast or as a subtle detail as shown here.
Of course Jules can also be made with a single linen or silk colour. Shown here in cream and natural linen with approximately a 39" total length (99 cm).
The oversized rounded solid brass ceiling canopy complements the soft curves of this handmade special pendant shade. Our signature linen covered light diffuser panel at the bottom is held in place by curved pegs to complete this composition of soft shapes. Our brass fixtures and armatures and be finished with light, medium or blackened patinas, shown with a custom natural copper patinated stem and polished natural copper canopy. Jules is wired for universal installation by your local licensed electrician. We provide bulb sockets for US E26 bulbs, EU E27 bulbs and AU BT bulbs. For US installations, our oversized canopy is more than large enough to conceal a J-box installation.
