About the Item
MHL4520
A hanging lantern with a hand-carved, veined white alabaster 'basket' shade, mounted with brass shields and suspended by slender hooks and a milled canopy. Each hook is wrapped in leather cord, and two leather tassels descend through an opening at the base of the alabaster shade. The fixture's design evokes the baskets woven by Ariadne to store grapes for the Greek god Dionysus. UL listed. This fixture is made to order and available in an array of polished, plated, and patinated finishes as well as three standard heights. Leather-wrapped stem and hanging tassel colors can be selected as Black, Brown, or White. Please use the "ask the seller" button to let us know what options are needed for your project.
