Thanks to its large size, its superbly handcarved rose and flower patterns AND its superb condition this museum worthy alabaster chandelier will light up both your days and evenings. What makes this particular chandelier stand out from any of the alabaster pendants that we have seen and sold over the years, are the amazingly deep and detailed, handcarved flower patterns. All around the high side these roses and rose leafs (together with some other beautiful flowers) are among the best we have ever seen and because of their size and depth they can be enjoyed from further away as well. Thanks to the original and complementing color chain we can also change the drop to one that is perfect for you. It must have taken a highly skilled artisan a whole lot of time to first draw and then perfectly hand-create this truly unique chandelier. For it to still be in this good condition after more than 100 years is like an ode to his craftsmanship and to the previous owners who clearly 'treated' this work-of-art-pendant with the utmost respect. We could shoot many more photos, but you still would not be able to see the true beauty of this shade and you could still not get a good idea of the tranquil beauty and class that this majestic chandelier radiates. In real life (or in person) our antiques always have that little bit more and this stunning pendant is no exception. You are going to have to take our word for it. Both with the light on and off this striking pendant will never go unnoticed or fail to impress. The mint alabaster canopy is like the icing on the cake and this chandelier is now rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well. It will easily take three bulbs of up to 120 watts each, but we would go with three times 80 watts, because that will suffice. Thanks to the metal hook inside the canopy, mounting this unique chandelier can be done in just a few minutes as well.
