Large Art Deco Chandelier Chrome Bronze White Glass Schneider Daum France, 1920s
About the Item
Large chain-hanging high quality Art Deco chandelier with attribution to Daum, Schneider or Loetz, France around 1920s to 1930s. This beauty is made of chromed or nickeled bronze metal and spotty opaque white glass with satin finish. The chandelier has four arms for four french bajonet bulbs and one center column for three E14 standard screw bulbs to illuminate. Wiring has been replaced so the light is fine working and ready to use. When lit the chandelier exudes a warm atmosphere. The pendant lamp has a total height including canopy of 63 cm / 24.80 inches and a total width of 70 cm / 27.56 inches, the width of one glass shade is 20 cm / 7.87 inches, 5 cm / 1.97 inches tall, the center glass tube column which has two minor chips at the rim ( not visible when mounted ) is 31 cm / 12.20 inches tall, the width is 14 cm / 5.51 inches. The fine Art Deco chandelier with typical clear and elegant lines would perfectly match to a design interior with furniture by Adnet, Leleu and Lacroix.
