Large Murano Glass Fluch Mount by Peill & Putzler in Stilnovo Style, 1960s
About the Item
A rare large Murano glass flush mount or pendant by Peill & Putzler, Germany, 1960-1969. Elegant design in the manner of Stilnovo, white glass with beautiful inclusions, impressive light effects. Brass-mounted, original manufacturer's labels, rewired. It takes one E27 large size bulb up to 100w. This flush mount can also be used as a pendant.
Measures: Diameter 20" / 50.5 cm
Height as flush mount: 15" / 38, variable height via extending the cord.
Overall Height as a pendant shown in the pictures: 37" / 94 cm, adjustable height via shortening or extending the cord.
Peill & Putzler started to working in 1947 and always worked with very important designers of the Bauhaus and with Minimalist designs.
Pelii & Putzler joined the founding members of the German Design.
