Large Pendant Light Chandelier, Rupert Nikoll, Glass Brass Black Iron, 1960
About the Item
A large six-arm chandelier by Rupert Nikoll, Vienna, manufactured in midcentury, circa 1960 (late 1950s or early 1960s).
The fixture is made of a nice mixture of materials: large textured clear glass lamp shades, solid polished brass and black iron.
The naturally aged brass has a warm tone with lovely patina.
The glass structure is similar to the lights of J.T. Kalmar.
Measures:
Diameter 29.5 inch (74cm)
Height of body without cords and canopy 11 inch (28cm)
The overall drop can be easily adjusted. On the images there is an overall drop of 31.5 inch (80 cm)
Dimensions of a glass lamp shade: diameter 5.5 inch (14 cm) / height 9 inch (23 cm).
